Research Themes

Research themes are generated in two main ways, first, by bringing together academics from different disciplines to discuss and debate public policy issues in a relevant area, for example, neuroscience and public policy. Second, research into the policy process, where initial themes are:

  • The use of expertise and evidence in the policy process and public decision making
  • The interaction of new technologies and governance
  • Distributive justice and policy making
