Research Interests
I am currently a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge leading a large-scale research project called 'Digiwhist' which looks at corruption risks in public procurement across 35 European countries. It collects government contracting transaction-level data from official administrative records accessible online and links it to other datasets such as company ownership data in order to generate a set of 'objective' indicators conducive to research and policy. At the same time, I am also the co-founder of an innovative research institute the Corruption Research Center Budapest (Hungary) where I promote the implementation of new measurement instruments of corruption and quality of government using 'Big Data'.
